Build your confidence and deepen your understanding of healthy living with this Level 1 Award in Nutrition & Health. This course expands on the foundations introduced in the taster programme, helping you understand how nutrition affects overall well-being and how to make positive lifestyle changes for yourself and others.

You’ll develop practical knowledge about balanced diets, food groups, healthy choices and the relationship between nutrition and long-term health. This course is ideal for adults interested in personal well-being, family nutrition or future roles in health and social care settings.
Delivered at Cradley Heath Skills Campus – complete with a home care simulation workshop, you will study in a supportive, confidence-building setting.

Who is this course for?

Designed for adults aged 19+ who want to:
• Learn more about healthy eating and well-being
• Support their family’s nutritional needs
• Progress into health or care-related roles
• Build confidence before further study
• Gain a recognised Level 1 qualification

No previous study required.

• You must be aged 19+
• Fully funded for most adults in the West Midlands Combined Authority area
